We all know of the pressure a Receptionist faces when there is mouth-watering food left over from a Partners lunch meeting… do they take the chance and shove it in their mouth while no one is looking or do they casually walk by and arrange for the room to be cleared, obviously thinking of the un-necessary calories and the horrendous thought of being caught.
One of our Receptionists who cannot be named decided to take the chance, however unknown to her, it was a large long room and the Partners were still sitting at the opposite end finishing their food –it wasn’t just the quick lump of cheese placed in the mouth but a good selection of nibbles were also tried that day. Needless to say “a moment on the lips…is not worth the trouble”
